Inter have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Benfica starlet Nelson Semedo but face a fight to bring him in during January.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, while Victor Lindelof is among Inter’s chief targets, his Benfica teammate Semedo is significantly nearer to nothern Italy.

The newspaper explains the Nerazzurri have “already secured” the right-back’s signature, but their troubles in adhering to Financial Fair Play leave the possibility of a winter arrival in the balance.

The earliest links between Semedo and Inter came last October, when the Beneamata were linked with a double swoop for him and Bayer Leverkusen forward Karim Bellarabi.
