Inter scout watches Sala

Inter reportedly sent a scout to watch Verona’s Jacopo Sala against Empoli on Sunday as they consider a January bid.

The versatile former Italy Under-21 international has been linked with a move to the Nerazzurri, with the Gialloblu struggling in last place in Serie A.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports today that the San Siro club sent a scout to the Stadio Bentegodi yesterday to watch Sala.

Verona were beaten 1-0 but the game marked Sala’s return from injury, as he played 23 minutes after being out for two rounds.
