Inter have pencilled in Raoul Bellanova’s pre-transfers medicals for next week ahead of a move from Cagliari.
The 22-year-old Italian right back was one of the few bright spots in a sluggish Rossoblu side last season, managing to stand out with his strong performances despite the club’s eventual relegation. Bellanova scored one goal and provided two assists in 31 Serie A appearances in the season just gone.
As detailed by TuttoMercatoWeb, Inter have scheduled Bellanova’s pre-transfer medicals for Monday next week. Assuming everything goes to plan, he’ll join the Nerazzurri on a loan deal with a buy option attached that could transform into an obligation if certain conditions are met.
Bellanova is expected to be deployed on the far right side of Simone Inzaghi’s five-man midfield, alternating with Denzel Dumfries in the role and freeing up Matteo Darmian a little.
The Nerazzurri are working hard to complete their key transfer business ahead of the pre-season training camp.
