BC Partners began a due diligence to analyse Inter’s financial situation at the beginning of January.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Suning’s era at Inter is over and the club’s takeover won’t take long as a meeting between BC Partners and the current club's owners is expected to take place by mid-February.

With the Chinese Government that has prevented big investments in Europe, Suning are almost being forced to sell Inter even if Steven Zhang feels very attached to the fans and the club.

There are two options on the table: BC Partners could acquire a minority stake in Inter, beginning a path that would allow the British fund to complete the club’s takeover within 12-24 months.

Otherwise, BC Partner can immediately buy a majority stake in Inter.

The English fund that is working on the deal with Gianluca Vialli’s Tifosy Ltd and could acquire the 51% stake in the club, leaving the rest to Suning, reports Il Sole 24 Ore.
