Inter are eager to get Davide Frattesi locked down quickly from Sassuolo, as the midfielder’s agent and Samuele Mulattieri’s representatives were in a series of frantic meetings this evening.

The two clubs have reached an agreement on Frattesi, who will join the Nerazzurri on loan with an obligation to buy for a total €25m plus ownership of Italy Under-21 international striker Mulattieri.

Things are certainly progressing fast, because in the last half-hour agents Beppe Riso – representing Frattesi – and Paolo Busardò were spotted going in and out of the Inter and Sassuolo headquarters.

The series of rapid-fire meetings are meant to get the details finalised as soon as possible, so Inter can avoid any other club trying to raise their offer.

Mulattieri is 22 and spent last season on loan at Frosinone, helping them win the Serie B title and earn promotion with 12 goals and four assists in 29 games.

Milan only organised their first meeting for Frattesi today, so were never really in the running, while Roma struggled to meet the asking price of €35m.

  1. well after having done 6 months of work for Bremer only to see it down the drain in less than a week you would have to be demented or senile to do that again……. looks like Marotta is learning – too bad it was the hard way !

  2. Bremer was way overpriced transfer, he is yet to confirm his value after all those silly mistakes.
