Coach Roberto Mancini confirmed yesterday that he was still hoping to sign midfielder Melo before Monday’s transfer deadline.
The Brazilian extended his contract a few weeks ago, so now the Turkish club is demanding at least €3m for his signature.
The Corriere dello Sport newspaper claims today that Melo isn’t the only subject of discussion between Inter and Galatasaray.
The Nerazzurri have also requested Alex Telles at left-back, another player Mancini signed while he was in charge of Gala.
In this case, Inter have asked to take Telles on loan, but the favourite remains Atletico Madrid’s Guilherme Siqueira.
