The Inter goalkeeping saga might finally be coming to an end, as while Shakhtar Donetsk lock down Anatoliy Trubin, it’s reported Bayern Munich will sell Yann Sommer for under €6m.

The Nerazzurri are currently on their pre-season tour of Japan without any goalkeepers, as Andre Onana was sold to Manchester United, Samir Handanovic released from his contract and Ionut Radu loaned to Bournemouth.

Now Sky Sport Deutschland claim that Bayern Munich have reached a basic verbal agreement with Inter to sell Sommer for just under the €6m figure.

Sky Sport Italia claim it is closer to €4m plus bonuses, which is a huge discount on the €6-7m asking price.

Bayern have also already found the Swiss international’s replacement in the form of Brentford man David Raya.

Meanwhile, there is also a hint that Sommer will be first choice at Inter rather than Trubin, because Shakhtar Donetsk have given the young shot-stopper the Number 1 jersey.

He turns 22 next week and seems more inclined to sign a new contract with the Ukrainian club.
