Inter have rejected Chelsea’s first concrete offer for goalkeeper Andre Onana but negotiations will continue after the Champions League final, reports suggest.

TMW details how the Blues are seriously interested in picking up the 27-year-old Cameroonian shot stopper this summer, ready to replace Edouard Mendy and find a new long-term number one.

Onana has already reportedly agreed personal terms with Chelsea but the club’s first offer to Inter – around €40m – has been rejected by the Serie A side, who are paying full focus to the Champions League final against Manchester City.

Talks will continue next week after the final and Romelu Lukaku could be included in the discussions. The Belgian striker has no intention of returning to work with Mauricio Pochettino and could play an important role in the talks with the Premier League side.

Should Onana depart this summer, Inter would look to sign Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario to replace him. The 26-year-old shined in Tuscany this season and looks ready to make the jump to a top side.
