Although the Argentine has struggled to find the net this season and complained at the lack of service he receives, Icardi was still top scorer in Serie A last term with 22 goals.
Still only 22, he is under contract with Inter until June 2019.
Icardi was signed from Sampdoria in 2013 for €12m and has since more than doubled in value.
He grew up in the Barcelona youth academy before transferring to Sampdoria in January 2011.
