Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi is reportedly feeling no physical discomfort, despite being substituted off two minutes after scoring the Nerazzurri’s fourth goal against Atalanta on Wednesday evening.

Frattesi was brought on as a substitute, scored Inter’s fourth and was then subbed off again, all within the space of nine minutes during Wednesday’s statement victory over La Dea.

The 24-year-old is now up to five goals in all competitions this season, having found the net in both of his last two Serie A appearances against Lecce and Atalanta.

Frattesi was one of six players who reported to the Suning Training Centre on Thursday, despite the rest of the squad having a day off following Wednesday’s game in Serie A.

The others, all carrying injuries of varying severity, were Hakan Calhanoglu, Marcus Thuram, Francesco Acerbi, Juan Cuadrado and Stefano Sensi.

According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Frattesi felt no serious pain on Thursday morning, and therefore the club has not conducted any further medical examinations.

Inter will only investigate further if Frattesi feels any significant pain in the coming days, according to Thursday’s reports. The former Sassuolo midfielder is currently able to train individually.
