Alessandro Bastoni is expected to return to group training on Thursday, so he will be available for a key Serie A game against Fiorentina on Sunday.

The Italy international was rested in a Supercoppa Final against Napoli on Monday night due to a slight muscle injury.

However, Calciomercato.com reports Bastoni will be available in Florence on Sunday night as he will return to group training on Thursday.

His teammates already resumed training at the Suning Centre on Wednesday morning.

Denzel Dumfries was allowed not to participate in this morning’s training session for personal reasons, but the Dutchman is also expected to be available in Florence this coming weekend.

Inter midfield stars Nicolò Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu will surely miss the trip to Florence after receiving their fifth yellow card this season in the Supercoppa Final against Napoli.

Inter currently sit second in the Serie A table, one point below their rivals Juventus, but Simone Inzaghi’s men have a game in hand.
