The Corriere dello Sport claims Real Madrid are demanding more guarantees for Achraf Hakimi’s delayed payment and could ask Inter for the player back.
Hakimi was signed by Inter in September for €40m, to be paid in four €10m instalments.
The first was meant to have already been paid in December, but Inter agreed a postponement to March 30 with the Liga champions.
However, with questions growing over Inter’s financial stability as they seek new investors and could even sell the club, Real Madrid are getting concerned.

However, with questions growing over Inter’s financial stability as they seek new investors and could even sell the club, Real Madrid are getting concerned.
According to today’s edition of the Corriere dello Sport, Real Madrid want more guarantees that their payment will arrive on time.
They are even suggesting the signed agreement to postpone the first instalment is no longer valid, because it was missing some key elements of the paperwork.
There could even be a form of ‘repossession’ clause, so Hakimi would be returned to the Bernabeu side in exchange for wiping out the debt.
Many Real Madrid fans have complained that Hakimi was sold too early and cheaply following his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund and would be a good addition to Zinedine Zidane’s current squad.
The Morocco international has six goals and five assists in 24 competitive games for Inter this season.
