Inter have sold almost 30,000 tickets for their Champions League game with Real Madrid, so are opening up the ‘away’ section for more home supporters to attend.
The match is scheduled at San Siro for September 15 and will open their Champions League campaign.
A statement released by the Nerazzurri confirmed that as almost 30,000 out of 35,000 tickets have already been snapped up, the club has permission from the local authorities to open up another section of the stadium.
They are now selling tickets for the third tier as well, the area usually reserved for away fans.
Only circa 2,000 tickets are now set aside for visiting supporters.
In Italy, open-air arenas are still only allowed to have 50 per cent capacity due to COVID restrictions.
Fans must enter with a Green Pass – showing either vaccination status, recent recovery from COVID-19 or a negative test posted within the last 48 hours – wear masks and maintain social distancing.
The most expensive ticket on sale to the general public for this Inter vs. Real Madrid match is set at €350, while the cheapest is €60.

When Italy is going to open full stadiums? In England and France 100% capacity is already in use. Financially this would be extremely important.
It is going to be a fantastic match
