Inter hope Samir Handanovic will recover from his injury in time for Sunday’s away clash at Udinese as Ionut Radu is still distraught over his error against Bologna.

The Nerazzurri return to the pitch on Sunday and hope to see the former Slovenia international between the sticks at the Dacia Arena. Handanovic had missed the last Serie A match in Bologna because of abdominal issues.

Radu replaced the former Udinese man in Wednesday’s game at the Stadio Dall’Ara, but a howler of the Romania international gifted all three points to the Rossoblu and prevented the Nerazzurri from returning to the top of the table.

According to Calciomercato.com, Handanovic is improving, but Inzaghi still has no guarantee that he will be available to start during the weekend. The report claims that Radu is distraught following his mistake against Bologna.

The Nerazzurri will travel to Udine without the suspended Hakan Calhanoglu and the injured Alessandro Bastoni, while Arturo Vidal and Robin Gosens should recover after missing Wednesday’s match.
