Inter have reportedly put Christian Eriksen on the market just eight months after his arrival from Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Dane was never really wanted by Antonio Conte in the first place and is not part of his plans for the future.

This had become evident, as Eriksen was repeatedly left on the bench and given only cameos as a substitute during the last few months of the season.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Dane was never really wanted by Antonio Conte in the first place and is not part of his plans for the future.

This had become evident, as Eriksen was repeatedly left on the bench and given only cameos as a substitute during the last few months of the season.

Eriksen cost €27.5m to sign from Spurs in the January transfer window, so if he is to leave this summer, it must be at a profit for the Nerazzurri.

He could well be used as part-exchange for other players more suited to Conte’s system, although the Corriere dello Sport maintain an asking price of €50m is entirely possible.

The 28-year-old has 31 goals in 95 senior caps for Denmark and is under contract with Inter until June 2024.

He spent seven years at Tottenham and before that came through the prestigious Ajax academy.
