Inter have reportedly put talks for Paulo Dybala on hold as Romelu Lukaku has become their priority target.

Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia report that La Joya’s transfer to the Stadio Meazza is not certain, as it appeared to be a few days ago.

Dybala is available as a free agent as Juventus refused to extend his contract in March. His agent met Inter two weeks ago, but there haven’t been new developments since.

Marotta warns Tottenham over Lautaro, provides Lukaku and Skriniar updates

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, talks are stalling because of the agent fees requested by Dybala’s representative Jorge Antun. As per Sky Sport Italia, Romelu Lukaku has become Inter’s priority and the Nerazzurri would need to sell at least two strikers to afford both Big Rom and Dybala.

The Nerazzurri have made a new offer to get Lukaku on loan from Chelsea. Multiple reports in Italy claim that Inter have offered €7m plus bonuses to reunite with their ex-striker, one year after his €113m move to Chelsea. Inter are confident about finalising the deal as Lukaku strongly wants to return to the club.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta said on Monday that both Dybala and Lukaku are concrete transfer targets for the Nerazzurri.

  1. They really behave like a small club don’t they?
Guess that’s what happens when you re controlled by the Chinese gov’t

  2. Well, i believe somebody should play hard ball with these agents demanding high fees on free agents, it becoming almost as much as the real prices of the players! I’m certain Marota knows what’s he’s doing here!

  3. @InterFan75: No, please remain calm until June 30.

Marotta is just getting Dybala on his terms, not on the agent`s terms 😉
