There’s good news and bad news for Inter on the injury front ahead of their next Serie A match against Udinese.

The Nerazzurri cannot afford to drop any more points now if they want to overtake intercity rivals Milan in the race for the league title. Their last minute defeat to Bologna leaves them two points behind the Rossoneri with only four games left, setting up a May in Serie A.

As reported by Inter, Arturo Vidal and Felipe Caicedo have responded well in training lately and seem set to join the squad for the next match against Udinese. The same cannot be said for Alessandro Bastoni, who is still showing signs of muscle fatigue and so will likely miss the game.

Samir Handanovic will be assessed on a day-to-day basis but the club are optimistic that he’ll be fit in time to face the Bianconeri. Robin Gosens’ condition is a little more unclear and coach Simone Inzaghi doesn’t want to take any risks, so he may be rested for the Empoli match.

  1. Gee Gosens and Caicedo have been really useful additions to the squad – how many minutes have they played?
