Sebastiano Esposito will reportedly fly to Belgium tomorrow to take his medicals with Anderlecht before joining on loan.

The 19-year-old Italian forward spent the season just gone on loan with FC Basel, where he scored six goals in 23 Super League appearances. He is clearly a talented player and Inter know it’s crucial for him to continue receiving regular minutes as he continues his development.

As detailed by Gianluca Di Marzio, talks between Inter and Anderlecht regarding Esposito are in their final stages and the Italian teenager is set to leave for Belgium tomorrow. He’ll take his medicals with the club and if everything goes to plan, he’ll sign the contract.

Esposito will join Anderlecht on a loan deal with a buy option attached. The move also includes a buy-back clause, which is set for €1m above the unannounced buy option, allowing Inter to bring back the teenager should things go well in Belgium.

  1. Esposito in Belgium. Gnonto in Switzerland. Is this what it takes for young Italians to olay and develop?!?!?!? When are we going to wake up?
