Inter have reportedly reached an agreement to terminate Christian Eriksen’s contract and are preparing an even at the Stadio Meazza to say goodbye to the Denmark international.

Inter will announce the end of Eriksen’s contract today, according to multiple reports in Italy.

The Dane is not allowed to play or train in Serie A with a heart starter implanted as any contact, or hit could break the device.

Inter directors met the midfielder’s entourage yesterday and La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport report the two parties have reached an agreement over the player’s exit.

Eriksen can continue playing in Denmark, the Netherlands or in the Premier League.

According to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri are preparing an event at San Siro in February 2022 to let Inter fans say goodbye to the former Tottenham star who joined the club in a €20m deal in January 2020.

Eriksen has played 60 games with the Serie A champions, scoring eight goals.
