Inter are reportedly preparing a new deal for Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, ready to offer a deal worth €4.5m a season until June 2024.

L’Interista reports the Nerazzurri are finalising their proposal to extend with the Croatia international, who’s contract at San Siro expires in June 2022.

The outlet claims Inter are preparing for the negotiations with the midfielder and are ready to present a new deal worth €4.5m a season for the next three years.

But the club would like to exclude the €60m release, which is present in the current agreement between the two parties.

Brozovic arrived from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2015 and signed a permanent deal with the Nerazzurri in July 2016.

He then extended his contract at Pinetina in October 2018 and is expected to remain for at least another three years.

Brozovic has started both Serie A games so far this term, helping Inter pick up wins against Genoa and Hellas Verona.
