Inter are reportedly preparing a contract offer for Paulo Dybala worth €6m per season, which is less than what he earns at Juventus.

The Argentinean striker will leave Turin at the end of his contract in June and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are in pole position to secure his services.

Talks between the player’s entourage and the club are ongoing, with Inter willing to offer a €6m-a-year contract plus add-ons. Dybala is on a €7m-a-year deal in Turin, but Inter’s offer would be in line with the wages of their best players, such as Nicolò Barella, Marcelo Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez who have recently extended with the club. The Nerazzurri haven’t yet tabled their offer because they must free up wages first.

Dybala sparks Barcelona speculation with Dani Alves meeting

For this reason, Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez are expected to leave the club in the summer.

Inter are aware of the interest of other European clubs in Dybala, although the striker hasn’t received concrete offers yet. The player’s agent will keep Beppe Marotta updated regarding interest from other clubs and other proposals for La Joya.

Dybala, who visited his former teammate Dani Alves in Barcelona yesterday, will play his last five games in Turin before leaving the club. One of the last five matches of his Juventus career is the Coppa Italia Final against Inter on May 11.

  1. So he didn’t accept an 8mil contract + add ons with Juve only to go somewhere else to get LESS money?? What an absolute dope.

  2. So true @Dan but remember how the ex Ferrari failed director disrespected the great Del Piero. But there are always two sides to a story. Agnelli was not even there when Dybala was told the news about his departure and it shows a total lack of respect as well as arrogance that has seeped into this club who always held hard work and grinta as their mantra. If he takes less money the only thing he will get is a new change of scenery that might reinvigorate him and a new sense of hunger to prove them wrong. At the moment Inter have the better squad and he will be less shackled then under Allegri. Also worth remembering what they did to Marotta and look how that turned out.

  3. There’s no way he’ll take less money. None. Every time they renewed a contract with him, 2 years in, his agent would be banging on the door for more money. A great player ruined by his agent. And please don’t compare him to Del Piero… That was not dealt with well at all but we’re talking about a player at the end of his career after spending 19 years at Juve. Dybala wasn’t a spec on Del Piero’s boots and demanded more money for far less of a return.

  4. Well said, Fatecisognare. Del Piero and Dybala – two different worlds. Dybala may get less money, but his agent will earn more.

  5. Nothing concrete to confirm different to the suggestions that an offer was made, agreement was reached, Dybala was ready to sign and it was the CLUB who reneged, not Dybala, not Antun. Would just be more of the same at best shoddy upper management, at worst feckless, undignified drivel from the directors and President. As has been the case for the last few years. Much better PR for the club to blame Antun/Dybala. Zero proof however. Something is rotten off the pitch at Juve, the climate behind the scenes has long felt unhealthy. Add to this the hideous legacy of Paratici of an overpaid unbalanced squad and it is easier to explain how so much money invested can lead to such absence of entertainment or growth or success on the field. I will wish La Joya well wherever he goes, has always honoured the shirt, which doesn’t change whichever club he chooses.

  6. And just to support what @Angelo said, let us also remember what Juve did to Miralem Pjanic, the way they released him!
