Inter chief Massimo Moratti has admitted that Douglas Maicon could end up at Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The Brazilian has been linked with the French outfit given that his contract at San Siro will expire in June 2013.

“I don’t know yet if Maicon could go to Paris,” the oil baron noted. “First of all we will have to decide whether to sell him, but I do see that they are putting together a great squad.”

The capital outfit are on the verge of completing deals for Milan centre-back Thiago Silva and Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Turning to players who could be on their way into San Siro, Moratti confirmed interest in Sebastian Giovinco – co-owned by Parma and Juventus – as well as Sao Paulo star Luca.

“Who doesn’t like a player such as Giovinco? Lucas, meanwhile, is an idea, but one of many right now.”

The Beneamata have also been paired with a bid for Siena’s Mattia Destro, a striker who is owned by Genoa. The latter also have a 50 per cent share in Inter youth striker Samuele Longo.

“Mattia is a really strong lad,” Moratti continued. “However, we have Longo who is building an important future.

“He’s not quite a jewel just yet, but he will be in the very near future.”
