The Gazzetta dello Sport today focus on two points to the speculation and indicate that a mid-season bid from the San Siro side remains a possibility.

The publication reports that Mancini met with Piero Ausilio and Mauro Fassone at Appiano Gentile this week and made it clear that his requirements in the January market included a winger and a playmaker.

The most likely options at the moment remain those of Lavezzi and Atletico Madrid's Alessio Cerci.

Other names that are being linked with Inter include Chelsea's Mo Salah, Marseille's André Ayew, Atletico's Angel Correa, Anderlecht's Youri Tielemans, and Liverpool's Lucas Leiva.

However, Lavezzi's name is being linked to Inter with insistence after El Pocho reportedly had a row with PSG Coach Laurent Blanc last Wednesday.

The Gazzetta reiterate reports from France this week that Lavezzi remonstrated with his Coach about being subbed off for the sixth game this season at the turn of the hour. Blanc allegedly replied that the Argentinean is a striker that ‘can be sacrificed’.
