According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Inter have set their sights on Valencia’s left-back Jesus Vazquez and could sign Marcus Thuram as a free agent in the summer.

The Nerazzurri want to strengthen their team in the winter transfer window and according to Gazzetta, 19-year-old Valencia defender Jesus Vazquez is among their targets for January.

The U19 Spain international has played four games under Gennaro Gattuso this season, so the Serie A giants hope he will be allowed to leave on loan with an option to buy.

According to the report, preliminary contacts between the two clubs have already begun.

Inter’s primary target for the left wing is Villarreal’s Alfonso Pedraza, but the Yellow Submarine demands at least €20m and is not open to loaning the Spain international.

The Nerazzurri are also long-time admirers of Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram.

The 25-year-old, son of former Serie A star Lilian, has scored 13 goals in 17 appearances this term and his contract expires in the summer.

Beppe Marotta could make his move in January, trying to persuade the French striker to sign a pre-contract agreement ahead of a free transfer in the summer.
