Inter President Massimo Moratti has indicated that Philippe Coutinho's move to Liverpool is all but complete.

Reporrs have suggested that the Brazilian playmaker will have a medical with the Premier League club today, ahead of his move, rumoured to be worth between €8-12m.

The Nerazzurri chief however, has revealed that his sale will not necessarily mean the arrival of Paulinho from Corinthians.

“Deals are done if the right conditions are there to complete them,” he told reporters. “As things stand, as far as I'm aware, the [Paulinho] deal might be possible.

“But if those conditions change, then no.

“Selling Coutinho has been done for a reason – it was not done with the idea of cashing in, but because, looking at the way things have developed recently, we have a greater need in different areas.”
