Inter are reportedly sure Ajax goalkeeper André Onana will arrive when his contract expires in June 2022, despite the interest from La Liga giants Barcelona.

The goalkeeper’s contract with Ajax expires after the current season and the Nerazzurri have reportedly reached an agreement with the shot stopper.

But reports in Spain suggest the Blaugrana have joined the chase for the goalkeeper from Cameroon.

Inter have, according to Calciomercato.com, identified the 25-year-old as the perfect replacement for Samir Handanovic and have reached an agreement over a four-year deal with the player.

Onana, capped 20 times by Cameroon, will reportedly leave Ajax on a free transfer next summer and join the Beneamata.

He has only played once in the Champions League for the Dutch side this term, as he recently returned from a doping ban.

But he played 90 minutes and helped Ajax pick up a 2-1 win over Besiktas in the fifth round of Group C in the European competition.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano also highlights the goalkeeper has a verbal to join the Nerazzurri.
