Arturo Vidal

Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal didn’t train today because of an ankle injury, while Alessandro Bastoni should be available for the next match against Roma.

The Nerazzurri trained at Appiano Gentile today following their 3-0 win against Milan yesterday. Vidal was introduced in the second half but suffered an ankle injury that prevented him from training with the rest of the team today. Calciomercato.com reports that the Chile international is in doubt for the upcoming Serie A clash with Roma.

Bastoni, on the other hand, should be available to play against the Giallorossi. The Italy international was replaced in the second half against Milan yesterday because of a suspected muscle injury, but according to the report, he only had cramps, so there’s no fear that he’ll miss the next game against José Mourinho’s side.

Inter are two points behind table leaders Milan but have a game in hand, so they’ll climb to the top of the table if they beat Roma and win their game in hand against Bologna next week.
