However, in Twitter Q & A session with San Siro fans on Thursday afternoon, the Chilean midfielder was in optimistic mood ahead of the coming campaign.

“Winning the Europa League and fighting for the title,” Medel answered when asked about Inter’s ambitions for 2016/17. “We are working hard and we are ready to start.”
The 28-year-old also agreed with the assessment that Roberto Mancini’s squad is now more balanced than it previously was.
“I agree, we have a good squad and we need to show it on the pitch.”
