Former Inter striker Julio Cruz believes the Nerazzurri, not Napoli, must be ‘the anti-Juventus’.
Ex-Italy CT Giampiero Ventura declared on Tuesday that Napoli were still Juve’s biggest threat in Serie A, but Cruz – who won four Scudetti with Inter between 2003 and 2009, scoring 75 goals in that time – made it clear it had to be the Beneamata.
“Inter must be the anti-Juventus. It’s history,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Inter must be the anti-Juventus. It’s history,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“The Nerazzurri’s rivals have always been Juventus, in addition to Milan. The Nerazzurri must go back to fighting in the upper echelons of the table and Spalletti must convey this message to the players.
The Argentine was then asked for his opinion on countryman and Inter new boy Lautaro Martinez.
“I watched Lautaro play in Argentina and he was a deadly player,” added the 43-year-old.
“It’ll take time for him to settle in Italy. It happened to me too. He must get to grips with this League. There’s a big difference between these two types of football.”
