Inter are in a state of mourning after the death of their 26-year-old youth coach Alessandro Dallatorre.
La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms that the Nerazzurri coach, who worked with the club’s youngest players in the Under-9, Under-10 and Under-11 squads, sadly passed away in the late hours of Friday evening after being involved in a car crash in the tunnel between Lecco and Ballabio.
Dallotorre reportedly collided head-on with a car being driven by a 24-year-old woman, who was immediately transported to hospital with serious injuries.
In a gesture of mourning, Inter cancelled all their non-competitive sports activities for today. In their Nerazzurri’s upcoming youth games, a minute’s silence will be observed for the 26-year-old Dallotorre.
Dallotorre had been a sporting director for the last two years with Pro Lissone and had worked with Inter’s youth squads since 2019.
A quiet and consummate professional, the 26-year-old had recently enrolled in the UEFA C course, continuing his personal development.
