Inter, Milan and Napoli have all moved up the UEFA Club Coefficient rankings after the latest round of Champions League fixtures, which saw the Milan clubs tee up a tasty Derby della Madonnina in the semi-final.

The UEFA Club rankings are based off the results of clubs competing in the previous five editions of the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League and the results determine the seeding in the competitions’ draws.

Of the three Italian clubs on the ascendancy in the European table, Inter have come out the highest, ranked 10th overall in Europe, having jumped up 12 places from their previous ranking of 22nd.

Despite their exit at the hands of Milan, Napoli are also on the move upwards and now sit in 20th, a five-place increase from the last set of standings.

Milan have also jumped up considerably since the last table was published and are currently ranked 35th in the coefficient table, which is an improvement of 11 places.

Elsewhere, Juventus have maintained their previous ranking of eighth overall in Europe, whilst Roma have done the same and hold their place in 11th.

UEFA also publishes rankings for the current season of European football, in which Napoli rank fourth overall across the continent, Inter come in sixth, Milan in seventh.

For their success in the Conference League, Fiorentina come next in 26th, Juventus are ranked 29th with Roma closely behind in 30th and whilst Lazio trail in 67th.
