Juventus are hoping to keep Angel Di Maria but are now reportedly facing competition from MLS side Inter Miami.

The Argentinian winger only signed a one-year contract with the Bianconeri when he joined on a free transfer last summer. His start to life in Turin was relatively unconvincing, disappointing fans, but he’s found a new lease of life since winning the World Cup in Qatar.

In 2023, Di Maria has scored six goals and provided two assists across Serie A and the Europa League, convincing Juventus to try and retain him.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Miami are keen on bringing Di Maria to the MLS at the end of this season.

The American side, who are closely associated with David Beckham, picked up former Juventus and Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain back in 2020, and now they’re interested in making another statement signing.

For his part, Di Maria is happy in Turin and wants to continue playing regular football as he aims to take part in the 2024 Copa America.
