According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter directors have met Sébastien Haller’s agents, but Ajax want €35m to sell the 27-year-old.
Scorer of 32 goals in 34 games across all competitions this season, Haller is one of the most prolific strikers in Europe in 2021-22. The 27-year-old’s contract expires in June 2025 and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport his agents met Inter earlier this week to discuss a possible move to San Siro at the end of the season.
The striker’s representative have informed Inter about Ajax’s asking price for their client, which is in the region of €35m. The Nerazzurri can’t offer as much, but a move to Italy tempts Haller, so the two parties will remain in touch.
Haller is not the only striker monitored by the Nerazzurri, who have already opened talks with Sassuolo for Gianluca Scamacca. Romelu Lukaku is also seen as a possible target for the Serie A champioms as the Belgian forward would like to return to San Siro. However, Inter’s financial situation makes it difficult to imagine a possible return of the Belgian forward.

Not the most skillful, but his workrate and strength could create chances for Vlahovic and Chiesa. So a pretty good idea. I do worry that he might no react well to the pressure of a big club.

this will be a nice addition to Italian football, and will also intensify the challenge for the scudetto, with all the top four teams apparently bolstering up their squads
Haller flopped at West Ham, he is obviously not good enough to start in a club like Inter. Stats in the Mickey Mouse league are not relevant in Serie A, while the UCL goals have been against lesser sides.
No worries, this is just a manouver to lower the price of Scamacca – the real Inter target.
Surely a fake rumor. Inter have no money and Haller is a too high risk player for inter anyways. Big chance of being a flop and fairly old.
That bum scamacca isn’t the answer either for inter though. But atleast his price can reduced by sending players the other way.
