Cagliari and Inter directors met today to discuss Nahitan Nandez and Radja Nainggolan.

The two clubs are on very good terms, having already reached an agreement for Dalbert’s loan move to the Sardegna Arena.

However, that is just the beginning as talks between the two parties continue. The Serie A champions are interested in signing Nandez, while Cagliari want Nainggolan to return to the club.

According to Calciomercato.com, representatives of the Nerazzurri and the Sardinians met at lunch today.

The intermediary Edo Crnjar joined Inter’s Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin and Cagliari sporting director Stefano Capozucca.

Nandez’s agent suggested on Sunday that his client is open to moving to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, but the two clubs have not reached an agreement yet.

Agent: ‘Nandez honoured by Inter interest’

The two clubs are also in talks over Nainggolan’s return to Cagliari.

Inter have agreed to rescind the midfielder’s contract by mutual agreement, giving the former Roma man a €1m severance pay.

However, the 33-year-old wants €500,000 more and hasn’t yet agreed personal terms with the Sardinians.
