The 25-year-old picked up an injury at his left thigh last month.
"It’s difficult to know his recovery time,” Conte told Sky Sport ahead of Inter’s Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk on October 26.
“There was nothing to see in the last exams but the player says he still feels something. We will do some extra checks, more in depth.”
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sensi is training at Inter’s training center and will undergo new medical tests at the end of the week.
Antonio Conte relies on the Italy international and the club are not willing to sell the player at any price even if he spent lot of time on the sidelines with only five starts since the beginning of 2020.
The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, could decide to sell Christian Eriksen who seems to be struggling to adapt to life under Conte.
