Inter have set their sights on West Ham’s Gianluca Scamacca and they’re now reportedly looking for buyers for Joaquin Correa.

The 28-year-old Argentinian striker joined the Nerazzurri from Lazio in August 2021, arriving on a €6m loan deal with a €27.3m permanence clause attached, which was activated a year later.

Although Correa did well under Simone Inzaghi in Rome, he has not managed to make a strong impression with Inter, netting just 10 goals in 77 total appearances for the club.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport via TMW, Inter are in talks with West Ham for Scamacca and are also interested in Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun, so are looking to make some space in their squad.

As such, the Nerazzurri are looking around for buyers for Correa, who is on the fringes of Inzaghi’s project in the Lombardy capital.

Selling the 28-year-old could generate the resources necessary to close out a deal for either Scamacca or Balogun.
