Inter are planning to sign one of Emerson Palmieri or Marcos Alonso this summer, according to Tuttosport.
The Nerazzurri started out the season with Kwadwo Asamoah and Antonio Candreva as regular wing backs in Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system.
However, Asamoah has struggled with injuries, and Candreva will turn 33-years-old in a number of days.
Ashley Young and Victor Moses were brought in in the January transfer window as cover, with Inter involved in the Europa League.

Cristiano Biraghi and Moses are only on loan at Inter, and the Turin daily expects both to return to their parent clubs, in addition to the departure of Asamoah.
This would leave just Young, Candreva, and the returning Valentino Lazaro for the two positions.
Tuttosport suggests that Conte would like one of Alonso or Palmieri for next season.
Conte worked with both players whilst he was in charge at Chelsea.
Alonso’s contract with Chelsea expires in June 2023, whilst Palmieri’s concludes in the summer of 2022.
