It has been reported that Inter are looking towards Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski, who is also wanted by Lazio and Juventus, but it might depend on Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Zielinski will be a free agent at the end of the current campaign, as his contract is running down in June 2024 and talks to extend seem to be at a standstill, as he rejected the 30 per cent pay cut.

A reunion with his old Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri is an option, while Juventus are also interested in the Poland international.

According to FCInterNews.it, there is only one scenario that would see Inter join the race to secure Zielinski, and that is if Mkhitaryan were to leave.

The Armenia international too is only under contract until the end of this season and has intimated he would like to extend at San Siro.

However, if an offer comes in from Saudi Arabia that would double his current salary, he would have to take that into consideration.
