Inter have officially loaned Valentino Lazaro to Benfica for one season, while Lucien Agoume extended his contract before the Brest move.

The Nerazzurri had been hoping to sell Austria international Lazaro, or make it a loan with obligation to buy.

However, on transfer deadline day they were only able to complete a dry loan, so without an option to buy, for one season with Benfica.

Lazaro was purchased from Hertha Berlin for €22.4m plus bonuses in 2019, but failed to make an impact, going on loan to Newcastle United and Borussia Monchengladbach.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old midfielder Agoume has officially extended his Inter contract to June 2025.

That will allow him to now go out on loan to Ligue 1 side Brest.

Agoume spent last season on loan in Serie A with Spezia, making just 13 competitive appearances between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
