Inter keeper André Onana shared a new message on Twitter, one week after being dropped by Cameroon at the World Cup.

Onana was omitted from Cameroon’s starting XI in their 3-3 draw against Serbia in November due to tactical disagreements with coach Rigobert Song.

The Inter keeper was initially temporarily suspended but then left Qatar as the conflict with Song and President of Cameroon FA Samuel Eto’o was irreparable.

The 26-year-old released a statement after leaving the World Cup last week, saying that he didn’t find will ‘on the other side’ to solve problems.

He has now shared a new social media message, writing the same lines in French and English: “In a world where lying is the most common thing, telling the truth makes you a revolutionary. But in the end, time will put everything in its place,” he said.

Onana has returned to Cameroon for his holidays and will soon join his Inter teammates to resume training ahead of the second part of the campaign.

He joined Inter on a free transfer from Ajax last summer and has made 13 appearances across all competitions with the Nerazzurri, keeping five clean sheets.
