Inter have agreed to send Franco Carboni to Monza and they’re hoping the deal could help them pick up talented defender Sheriff Kassama, reports suggest.

The 19-year-old Carboni had been sent to Serie B side Cagliari on loan in the summer and did well enough to attract the attention of Monza, who will sign the Argentinian left back on a loan deal with a permanence clause attached. The Nerazzurri hold a buy-back option should Carboni reach his potential with the Lombardy outfit.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Inter are big fans of the 18-year-old Sheriff Kassama, who has been quietly impressing with Monza’s Primavera squad this season. The Nerazzurri are hoping that the Carboni deal with Silvio Berlusconi’s club will help facilitate talks for the Italian teenager.

Kassama has made 15 appearances for the Monza Primavera squad this season, showing promise as both a centre back and right back. He joined the club from Union Feltre in July 2021.
