Sunday’s Derby d’Italia between Inter and Juventus at San Siro is set to become the highest-grossing match in Serie A history.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Stadio Meazza will be fully booked when the arch-rivals face off this weekend, with over 75,000 fans expected through the turnstiles.

The showdown should therefore generate more than €6.5m in gate receipts – an all-time high for the Italian top fight.

The newspaper also explains how over 100 nationalities will be represented in the stands and over 20 percent of tickets have been purchased from abroad.

Finally, more than 40 broadcasters will broadcast the match in over 200 countries.
