Reports suggest that Arsenal, Marseille and PSG have joined the two Italian clubs on the list of potential suitors for the 24-year-old, who has scored two goals and provided two assists for the Bundesliga side this term.

The player himself is said to prefer a move to the peninsula where he regularly takes holidays, and has mentioned Inter as a preferred destination.

This may now change however, as Calciomercato.com report that the Bianconeri are now looking at the Swiss international.

With Patrice Evra on his way out of the club, Max Allegri’s side are now needing a reinforcement for Alex Sandro, and are also said to be evaluating moves for Sead Kolasinac of Schalke.
