Serie A interest continues to grow in Feyenoord and Mexico striker Santiago Gimenez, as Inter are the latest club to make an approach.

The 22-year-old centre-forward already made quite the impact last season, but has been even more impressive so far this term with 15 goals in 12 games.

That includes a brace in his Champions League debut against Lazio and he will be on Italian soil next week for the return leg of that tie.

Gimenez has already attracted interest from the likes of Napoli, Milan and Juventus in Serie A, but now Inter are also looking at him for the future.

Marko Arnautovic and Alexis Sanchez are both 34 and were brought in over the summer as short-term options in attack.

Gimenez will be tough to get with a host of clubs tracking him, and the contract until June 2027 sees his transfer fee levitate to €50m.

Born in Argentina and raised in Mexico, Gimenez moved from Cruz Azul to Feyenoord in July 2022 for just €6m.
