Simone Inzaghi rested his Inter squad after their win over Napoli, but injured duo Benjamin Pavard and Alessandro Bastoni were both seen in Appiano Gentile.

The Nerazzurri secured a vital 3-0 win away to the defending champions on Sunday evening to take back the top spot of the Serie A table from Juventus, maintaining their two-point lead. It was an impressive showing from Inter, who’ve already qualified for the Champions League knockout stages.

Inzaghi’s side now have the week to prepare for their clash with Udinese on December 9, which comes just days before their decisive Champions League clash with Real Sociedad, where victory would guarantee a first-place finish in the group.

As reported by Sport Mediaset via TMW, Pavard and Bastoni both turned up at the Suning Training Centre today to continue working on their respective recovery programmes. The latter is set to return to the squad in a few days, whilst the former will have to wait a little longer.

Tomorrow, Stefan de Vrij and Denzel Dumfries will undergo a round of medical tests following their forced exits in the win over Napoli.
