Simone Inzaghi has been provided with a major injury boost ahead of their visit from Fiorentina in Serie A on Saturday as Alessandro Bastoni and Robin Gosens have fully recovered from their respective injuries.

Bastoni was withdrawn due to a thigh injury during Inter’s 0-0 draw with Porto in the Champions League Round of 16 earlier in the month and subsequently missed the 1-0 loss to Juventus the following Sunday and was not part of Roberto Mancini’s Italy squad for the most recent set of international fixtures.

Gosens has been on the sidelines for a similar period of time, having picked up a calf problem in training ahead of the European clash with Porto.

Gazzetta dello Sport has confirmed that both Bastoni and Gosens were fully involved with the rest of the Inter squad today on their first full training session after the international break.

Both got through the session with no problems reported and are in contention to mark their returns against La Viola at the Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday evening.

It was reported that Edin Dzeko also trained on Thursday, although with caution as he has been suffering with back pains whilst away on international duty in recent weeks.

The 37-year-old Bosnian also managed to get through today’s session without any complaints.

Marcelo Brozovic also trained with the team on Thursday, who might be relied upon in the coming weeks after the injury picked up by Hakan Calhanoglu whilst away with Turkey

Federico Dimarco is the only player with any question marks over his availability for this upcoming weekend, who will be further evaluated in the coming days.
