Rumours suggest that Inter are negotiating a possible deal with Turkish Airlines to become their new main shirt sponsor.
The Nerazzurri ended a 26-year partnership with sponsor Pirelli back in 2021, a move that upset fans considering the iconic nature of the logo on the club’s shirts. Socios took over as the shirt sponsor for the 2021-22 season but only lasted a year before being replaced by DigitalBits.
Inter’s partnership with DigitalBits was a disaster. The sponsor failed to make a single payment and eventually their logo was removed from the club’s shirts, leaving them with a cleaner but plainer look for the final stages of this campaign.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Inter are in advanced negotiations with Turkish Airlines, discussing the idea of them becoming the new main shirt sponsors. Midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is playing a role in the talks, being a good link between the two parties.
Turkish Airlines already sponsor a number of other football clubs, including Galatasaray, Trabzonspor and FK Sarajevo.
