Inter are in negotiations with Suso’s agent and Milan are open to a potential sale across San Siro, claim Sky Sport Italia.

Alessandro Lucci had several meetings with the Nerazzurri over the last few days and he also represents Davide Zappacosta, but it seems the discussion was about Suso.

The Spaniard has a release clause worth €38m in his contract, but it is valid only for clubs outside of Italy, so would not be valid in this case.

According to transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan haven’t slammed the door on their cousins, but are rather waiting to hear the offer on the table.

They have already identified Suso’s replacement in the form of Jose Callejon, who is ready to leave Napoli following Maurizio Sarri’s exit.

Suso is only 24 years old and this season contributed eight goals and 14 assists in 50 competitive games.

It's rumoured Inter tried to offer Antonio Candreva as part of the deal, but Milan asked for Marcelo Brozovic or Ivan Perisic and were rebuffed.
