Inter are hoping to finalise Valentino Lazaro’s move to Benfica, on a two-year loan with obligation to buy for €8m.

According to FCInterNews.it, the Austria international’s agent is currently in Milan for negotiations.

The 25-year-old wing-back was signed from Hertha Berlin in 2019 for €22.4m, but never made an impact with the Nerazzurri.

He was loaned out to Newcastle United and then Borussia Monchengladbach.

They have been trying to sell Lazaro for some time, and a deal could be done with Benfica on a two-year loan with obligation to buy for €8m.

Borussia Dortmund have also shown interest in Lazaro.
