Danilo D’Ambrosio believes that the Inter fans ‘have a right to dream’ ahead of the new season.
The Nerazzurri have already dipped their toes into the waters of the transfer market, bringing in Nemanja Vidic and Yann M’Vila.
And the former Torino defender, who himself only arrived in January, has claimed that the supporters at San Siro can expect good things.
“What identifies this Inter from ones in the past? That’s the fans,” he told Il Giornale,
“This is their club. They are attached to these colours. They have the right to dream and get excited.
“There’s a great atmosphere around the club at the moment.”
The full-back then commented on his lack of playing time towards the end of last season.
“I spoke with Mazzarri and he explained the situation. I understand.
“This project isn’t going to work if we don’t suffer and grow together. Even so, from February to May I played 11 times.
“I wasn’t disappointed with that.”
